Residual current device (RCD)

RCD is a device or devices fitted to your home or work place to keep the users safe. If a circuit is protected by an RCD and someone or something causes a fault, Rcd’s job is to cut electricity to reduce the chances of major electric shock. If you have been electrocuted you must get medical/professional assistance/checkup.

If you have not had any major electrical work done on your home in the last 20 years you should concede getting your local electrician to test your installation.
